Richard Sternberger, a Character of Interest
Thanks to Reed Massengill for his note regarding this Colt "Horn Chair" photo. It is reproduced below with his permission.
The guy who's seated has always been a character of interest to me. He started in NYC (he was a NY/NJ guy) under his real name, Richard Sternberger, posing for Champion, and did the Colt series while Colt was still in NYC (so early) and I think Colt called him Heinrick in that series called "Threesome." He's also the middle guy in the Colt series (and film) "What the Carpenter Saw."

He migrated west, and posed along the way for Don Whitman (at probably his most muscular) under the name Rick Alexander and for Mizer at AMG under either that same name or his real name.

The last photo of him (far right) was c. 2015, and he passed away a few years after that. We corresponded by email, but I was never able to convince him to sit down for an interview, unfortunately.
