Although there's a hand-written note "Young Liederman" on the verso, this may or may not be Earle Liederman. A prominent and controversial figure in the history of American fitness, there are surprisingly few photos of him. He was born in New York in 1888 which means he'd be in his early 40s in this photo.
It is, in any case, gorgeous photo, beautifully lit, expertly printed, and interesting pose.
