Six men (fraternity brothers?) draped on a velvet and tassle-covered divan. It's difficult to disentangle the bodies and admittedly, it's pushing the concept of a "row."
There's a wistful, elegiac, sensual air. No one looks directly at the camera. A dark fabric with stars seems to wind its way through the jumble of limbs. Is this a commemoration, some special day, like a graduation? The one thing we know is they're at ease with each other and enjoying the physical intimacy.
